Product Features
Otterbine's CAD designed corrosion resistant 115V high voltage lighting system is manufactured of nickel plated copper and features a 250W or 500W halogen bulb with clear glass lens. All mounting brackets and hardware are manufactured of stainless steel or naval brass, and the entire lighting system is designed for both salt and fresh water use. These lights are recommended for our Large Aerating Fountains and Giant Fountain lines, but can also be used on 5HP Aerating Fountains. High Voltage Lights cannot be used on 5HP High Volumes.

*Power control center is not a standard item on 50Hz packages.

Below are the product specifications for the Fountain Glo High Voltage Light Systems. The pattern selected and lighting effect desired, including the number of lights per system, will determine if you should select the 250W or 500W lights. Product Installation
The Fountain Glo High Voltage Light Systems produce extraordinary illumination to our large horsepower aerator and fountain systems. Depending on the aeration or fountain system selected, you will be provided mounting brackets that attach the lights to the float. All light fixtures come fully assembled, so installation simply requires mounting the transformer, attaching the lights to the float with the brackets provided*, and connecting the power. Once installed, adjust the angle of the light fixtures for the effect you desire. Complete installation instructions will be found within the owner’s manual which will be provided with the delivery of the product.
Additional Considerations When Ordering and Installing Fountain Glo™ MR16 Light Systems:
- If you plan to add lights to an aeration or fountain system after initial purchase, a separate power control center will be needed. However if at the time you place the aeration/fountain system order you know there are plans to add lights sometime in the future a larger panel can be built to accommodate the forthcoming light controls.
- The light fixture must be full submerged at all times when energized.
- When budgetary concerns are present consider decreasing the light set to a 2-light set or3-light set and increasing the wattage to a 500W bulb.
*Giant Fountain light systems require no brackets as light mounts are built into the float.
Warranty
The Fountain Glo High Voltage Lights carry a complete 1 year warranty. This warranty extends to the complete package including light housings, cable, transformer and power control center.Warranty and service can be performed by more than 100 factory trained and certified Otterbine Service Centers found worldwide, or by Otterbine directly. A copy of the warranty statement for this product can be found within the owner’s manual.
Maintenance
Light fixture is designed for years of dependable service. Periodically clean the bezel glass lens of any debris and check the power cords for any damage. Always disconnect power from the light when performing maintenance.
